WEST FARGO Despite the hot weather, thousands descended upon Bonanzaville to celebrate America s birthday.
Bonanzaville s annual Fourth of July event included a historic shooting of the anvil, games, live history demonstrations, horse-drawn wagon rides, crafts for the kids, train rides, two stations of Bungee Jumper from Games to Go, aerialist Katie Hicks, Terry & Jerry s food truck and snow cones.
The annual parade was held through the Bonanzaville streets as well as a fireworks display at dusk.
The Fourth of July celebration is just one of the many events Bonanzaville hosts throughout each year. Later this year, the Pioneer Village s annual Pioneer Days will be held in August.
