The Swan School in Oxford unveiled Laura Megaw, who was previously an assistant headteacher in Rome. She joins the Marston school, which became the first completely new secondary in the city for more than 50 years when it opened in 2019. Ms Megaw was previously assistant headteacher at St George’s British International School in Rome and has also held leadership posts at schools in London. She said: “I am excited to have the opportunity to really shape and grow a sixth form culture in which each individual can become the best version of themselves. “I passionately believe in providing an education that offers opportunities both academically for students to reach their desired careers and universities of choice, as well as genuine, meaningful leadership and electives opportunities that allow each individual to explore and develop their passions and interests.
