In some horribly sad news, Captain Sir Tom Moore - who raised millions for the NHS last year during the first lockdown - has died. The heroic war veteran, who turned 100 last year and was gifted with an RAF flyover for the occasion, had been in hospital with coronavirus.
Captain Tom s daughter Hannah Ingram-Moore said he had been being treated for pneumonia, and tested positive for COVID-19 last week. He was taken to Bedford Hospital after requiring help with his breathing on Sunday, and a post on his official Twitter account confirmed his sad passing today.
The announcement consisted solely of a photograph of the veteran smiling, along with the dates 1920 - 2021 .

The end of the world? Absolutely not. But. annoying? Definitely. However, it seems a solution is finally at hand. but it could cost you.
According to a new report from
Pocket-Lint, a gadget review and tech site, the Apple team hope to have solved the problem with their new iOS 14.5 update (the release date for which is still TBC). They explain that if your iPhone is updated, then paired with an Apple Watch, that it should happily unlock whether or not you re wearing a mask.

He continued, I throw her on the bed on that date night, not even five seconds later, the producers come in and de-mic you. I didn’t sleep with Ines that night, that didn’t happen. I didn’t sleep with anyone on the show.
