As Kingston accelerates its pandemic reopening plans, St. Lawrence Parks Commission, in partnership with Correctional Service Canada, announced that Kingston Pen Tours will reopen Wednesday.
The outdoor tour lasts one and a half hours, and due to public health measures, the guided tour will be limiting its groups to a size of 10 guests per tour.

According to the news release, the tour will be bringing historic, architectural and criminological components together as one outdoor experience. Guests will be able to explore outdoor spaces of the living and working areas of the security prison, dating back to the 1830s.

The St. Lawrence Parks Commission (SLPC) recently tasked a consulting firm to create a five-year strategic plan as well as a 10-year roadmap for its future.
