The Northshore School District is reeling after a savage attack on one of its teachers.
According to Seattle police, Noriko Nasu and her boyfriend were walking through the Chinatown-International District on Thursday, Feb. 25, when a random man approached them.
Nasu told police the man carried a rock inside a sock and used it as a nunchuck, leading to devastating results.
In a Facebook post, Nasu said she suffered from extensive fractures to her face and teeth, causing her to be treated at Harborview Medical Center.
Seattle police still haven’t been able to identify the man who attacked Nasu.

The ruling created big waves in the criminal legal system and in the Legislature, predictably prompting conservatives to lose their goddamned minds, moderates to stiffen slightly, and those fighting the racist drug war to cheer.
Man jailed in King County 76 times arrested for robbery at Pike Place business

SEATTLE - A repeat offender who targeted a Pike Place Market business during the pandemic has officially been charged with second-degree robbery.
According to the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, a 56-year-old man allegedly pulled money bags from the fruit and produce stand’s safe while an employee stepped away. He tried to run away with the money but was grabbed by the employee, who called a nearby security guard, according to the Prosecuting Attorney s Office.
The man is charged with trying to steal more than $8,000. He also hit the fruit business employee in the head, but the employee said he didn’t need medical attention, according to investigators.
