Rod Linderman got into the holiday spirit in a big way.
The Athens resident won one of the three top prizes of $75,000 in the National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation instant lottery. Linderman, 45, said in an OLG news release that he likes to play the lottery for fun.

“I thought I would buy some seasonal tickets to get into the holiday spirit!” he said.
The married father indicated that he and his wife were sitting at their table winding down for the evening when he discovered his win.
