Karen McDonald, owner of Shoreline Chic which opened on March 11, says that her first goal in her first retail business venture is to have fun, with a second goal of bringing customers the best quality home décor for the best possible price.
The retired Bruce Power manager decided to open her new business after Covid complicated her previous set-up, which was run out of her family farm.

“I decided I needed a more structured atmosphere,” she explained. “This storefront became available and I decided it was time for my ‘fun’ job.”
