It s leader, Vanessa Fiorelli has lost her seat, as has deputy mayor Geoff Mitcham. Melksham Town is sub-divided into four Wards:North Ward, Central Ward and South Ward and Forest. Melksham East now has two Tories and two Together For Melksham - A Fresh Start councillors.  Melksham North also has one of each. And Melksham South has one Tory, one independent and two Together for Melkshams.  Together for Melksham, led by John Hubbard who was also elected to Wiltshire Council, is now the majority party with another three in Forest.   Graham Ellis, Melksham South Independent said:  Congratulations to Jon Hubbard on his election to Wiltshire Unitary Council to represent the south division of Melksham, and to Jon, Colin Goodhind, and Jacqui Crundell to serve for the ward on Melksham Town Council, alongside myself. There were more good candidates than vacancies in both elections, and my commiserations to the other candidates who all fought excellent campaigns.

Baby goat likely terrified when it was taken from Toronto s Riverdale Farm: police

Last Updated Friday, May 7, 2021 2:12PM EDT Police say they are on the lookout for a small goat named Juniper who was taken from Riverdale Farm in Toronto’s Cabbagetown neighbourhood this week. Police say that at sometime between 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday and 7 a.m. on Thursday, one or possibly more suspects broke into an enclosure at Riverdale Farm, off of Winchester Street. “The suspect or suspects entered a pen within the farm and stole the 3-month-old Nubian goat named Juniper,” police said Friday. Const. Ed Parks told CP24 there is third-party security present at the farm overnight, but they did not detect the break-in.

Toronto police search for baby goat allegedly stolen from Riverdale Farm

Toronto police are investigating a theft that gives kidnapping a whole new meaning. They say a baby goat was stolen from the Riverdale Zoo sometime between 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday. The three-month-old Nubian goat is named Juniper. Police say her identical twin sister, Justine, was left in the pen unharmed. Juniper is described as weighing roughly 13 kilograms, and having fur that is black and silver, with brown legs and white ears. Police say farm staff told them the baby goat also called a kid wouldn t leave the pen without her mother, and likely would have cried out during the alleged theft.
