Person struck by truck in crash that closed I-81

Pennsylvania State Police public information officer Trooper Megan Ammerman said the southbound lanes of the highway are closed at mile marker 78.4 in East Hanover Township, and traffic is being detoured off of Exit 80 to Grantville.
State troopers were already on the scene investigating a crash when another vehicle hit the vehicles involved in the original crash, Ammerman said. A person was struck and is suffering a major injury, she said. The investigating trooper and another driver had to dive out of the way to avoid being struck.
