Lebanon man pleads guilty in 2016 double-voting case

CONCORD A Lebanon man pleaded guilty in Grafton Superior Court on Wednesday to wrongful voting for casting two ballots during the 2016 presidential election, according to a news release from the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office.
Vincent Marzello, 65, was sentenced to 90 days in prison, all suspended for two years, and ordered to pay $300 out of a total $3,000 penalty brought against him by the Office. The remainder of the fine is suspended for five years, according to the release.
An indictment filed in Grafton Superior Court in November alleged that Marzello knowingly voted twice once as himself and once under the name Helen Elisabeth Ashley in Lebanon four years ago.

NORTH HAVERHILL A 30-year-old Bethel man has pleaded not guilty to charges he solicited sex online from someone he thought was a 15-year-old girl.
Nicholi Vines was arraigned in Grafton Superior Court on Wednesday on charges of prohibited uses of a computer, and attempted felonious sexual assault. He was ordered released on a $5,000 bond and instructed not to have contact with people under 18 and not to travel outside of New Hampshire or Vermont, according to court documents.
The charges stem from an undercover operation in September, when Lebanon police posed as a teen girl on the social media app Skout, according to an affidavit written by Lebanon Police Officer Eric Hunter.
