Revolut users spend big in Penneys as retailers reopen

Penneys stores accounted for 30 of the top 50 retailers in the country for Revolut spending yesterday

Revolut users spent more money in Penneys stores than any other non-essential shops in the country on the first day of the reopening of retail yesterday.
The next highest spend was in JD Sports outlets, followed by Brown Thomas, Zara and Argos.
According to the financial technology company, Penneys stores accounted for 30 of the top 50 retailers in the country for Revolut spending yesterday.
The chain was one of thousands of retail businesses that welcomed customers back into its stores again, offering a shopping by appointment service.
