Rollover crash in Port Washington; Chicago woman, boy hospitalized By FOX6 News Digital Team Published  article PORT WASHINGTON, Wis. - Two people were transported to the hospital on Tuesday, June 1 following a single-vehicle rollover accident on Interstate 43 near exit 100 in Port Washington.  The Ozaukee County Sheriff s Office said the driver of the vehicle, which had Illinois plates, lost control and left the roadway, overturned multiple times and hit a tree. The driver – a 40-year-old Chicago woman – was taken to the hospital via Flight for Life. The passenger – a 7-year-old Chicago boy – was transported to Children s Wisconsin. High speed and erratic driving appear to be factors in the crash, the sheriff s office said.

Crew rescues goose frozen in river near Grafton waterfall By FOX6 News Digital Team Published  (Courtesy: Village of Grafton Fire Department) GRAFTON, Wis. - A goose was rescued from a precarious, and chilly, situation in Grafton early Saturday, Jan. 23. Around 8:45 a.m., the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources reached out to the Grafton Fire Department about a domesticated goose that had become frozen in the ice near a waterfall. According to the fire department, the goose was alive and seen stuck in the ice near the Bridge Street dam as early as Friday morning. Firefighters safely freed it, and the bird was taken to the thaw out. It is doing well and is headed to a rescue service, officials said.
