Region of Waterloo Public Health reported 56 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, putting the overall total at 14,257.
Hospitalizations are down by six to 59, with 33 patients in intensive care.
No new deaths were reported on Saturday, leaving the local death toll unchanged at 252.
The active caseload is down by 45 to 543.

198,636 doses of the COVID vaccine have been administered - 16,248 people in the region have been fully vaccinated (2.76 per cent)
1,931 cases have screened positive for variants of concern - 50 are the U.K. strain - two are linked to the variant first detected in South Africa - five are linked to the strain first found in Brazil - lineage to the other 1,874 has not been determined yet
Region of Waterloo Public Health reported 118 cases on Saturday and 107 on Sunday.

The region saw 225 new COVID-19 cases logged over the weekend.
Region of Waterloo Public Health reported 118 cases on Saturday and 107 on Sunday.
There are 62 people hospitalized with the infection, 27 of which are in intensive care units in the region.

The health department in Waterloo Region reported 76 new coronavirus cases on Friday afternoon. 74 are from Thursday, with the other two added to previous daily totals.
There have now been 12,475 cases in total.
Hospitalizations increased by three to 22, with four people receiving treatment in intensive care.
The active caseload is up again to 453.

The region reported 63 new COVID-19 infections as of Wednesday and a total of 397 active cases.
Confirmed variant cases increased by 36 cases from Tuesday, but may have been accounted for on previous days as it takes time to confirm a variant strain.
So far, there has been a total of 620 variant cases reported in Waterloo region, 38 of which have been confirmed to be the B117 variant first detected in the UK.
