The driver of a Dodge sedan died Tuesday night in a two-vehicle collision on Augusta Road near Preston Road in Pelzer.
A 2013 Dodge pick-up was traveling north on Augusta Road while a 2000 Dodge sedan was traveling south on Augusta Road around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, according to the state Highway Patrol. The driver of the sedan crossed left of center and struck the pick-up, according to Highway Patrol Master Trooper Gary Miller.
The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead on the scene while the driver of the pick-up was injured and taken the the hospital by EMS, according to the Highway Patrol.

Found near North Woods Drive Share Updated: 11:37 PM EDT Apr 13, 2021 A body was found Tuesday in a wooded area in Greenville County, according to Coroner Parks Evans, with the Greenville County Coroner s Office.The man was pronounced dead by EMS upon their arrival, Evans said.According to Evans, they responded to the area of North Woods Drive near Jim Carey Way after a man was found and pronounced deceased on scene. He has been identified as Evan Blake Causey, 31, of Fountain Inn.According to Evans, Causey died 11:30 p.m. on Sunday.An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday to determine the cause and manner of death.
The driver of a Yamaha motorcycle died Sunday in a single vehicle collision on North Woods Drive near Park Industrial Road west of Fountain Inn.
South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers were called to the scene at 7:06 Tuesday night where they found the Yamaha motorcyclist.
Evan Blake Causey, 31, of Fountain Inn, was found in a wooded area. He died Sunday night, according to the Greenville County Coroner s Office.
Causey was traveling west on North Woods Drive and traveled off the left side of the roadway, crossed over another roadway and struck a few trees which overturned his motorcycle, according to Highway Patrol Master Trooper Gary Miller.
