During a visit in Moscow, Greek Tourism Minister Haris Theocharis assured Russians that
Greece’s national vaccination committee includes the Russian vaccine as an equivalent to European vaccines for travel purposes.
“There is, therefore, no issue for Russian citizens who are vaccinated to come without having to undergo a screening procedure and additional tests,” Theocharis said.
The EU Green Pass regulation due to be adopted soon does not recognise vaccines not approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA). However, it is flexible enough to allow EU member states to recognise these vaccines, such as Russia’s Sputnik V, on a bilateral level.

Until now, all travelers arriving in Greece from abroad had been obliged to present a negative PCR (polymerase chain reaction) coronavirus test taken up to 72 hours before arrival and had to self-quarantine at home or at the place listed on the Passenger Locator Form for seven days, the Greek national news agency AMNA noted.

Greece ‘s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) announced on Monday that it lifts the 7-day quarantine for arrivals from European Union member states, countries of the Schengen Agreement and five more non-EU countries. The lifting of quarantine is, however, bound to two preconditions.
At the same time, the CAAt extended travel restrictions for domestic and international flights until the Holy Monday, April 26, 2021.
With a new air directive (notam) the CAA announced that the 7-day quarantine is lifted from April 19, 2021 for permanent residents from:
