Grayson County reported only six new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday.
A report from the Grayson County Health Department and the Office of Emergency Management said Grayson County had only 25 active COVID-19 cases Thursday including the six new cases reported on that day.
Since the pandemic began, there have been 11,260 test confirmed cases of the virus in the county and 363 Grayson Count people have been reported to have suffered COVID-19 related deaths.
There have been 105,018 tests performed for the virus in the county.
The data from the state regarding vaccines administered is often delayed by a week or more.

Texoma Community Center and Grayson County have entered into a partnership for mental health services at the Grayson County Jail. Grayson County Health Department Director Amanda Ortez gave a presentation on the $10,000 contact for the project during Tuesday s meeting of the Grayson County Commissioners.
Information in the court s agenda explained TCC will provide services to Grayson County inmates, based upon previous mental health assessments or as a need is determined. TCC will submit monthly invoices to GCHD, after such services are provided.
The $10,000 contract will be paid out to TCC at an hourly rate of $150 an hour for work performed at the jail between March 8 of this year and August 31 of next year.

Grayson County s Health Department and Office of Emergency Management reported an new COVID-19 related death in the county on Wednesday. That brings the total of Grayson County residents who have suffered such deaths in the region to 362.
Because of the way the state of Texas has decided to handle COVID-19 death certificates, no additional information about those determined to have suffered such deaths is available.
In addition, the county reported four new test confirmed cases of the illness Wednesday and an active case count of 32. Since the pandemic began, 11,218 people have had test confirmed cases of the illness. There have been 103,541 tests for the virus performed in the county.
Grayson County s active cases of COVID-19 remained in the 30s on Tuesday.
A report from the Grayson County Health Department and the Office of Emergency Management said there were eight new cases reported for Tuesday and the active case number was 37.
Since the pandemic began, 11,214 people have in Grayson County have had test confirmed cases of the virus. There have been 361 COVID-19 related deaths of Grayson County residents reported.
Health care providers have performed 103,454 tests for the virus since the pandemic began in Grayson County.
