NORRISTOWN â Rock legend Jimi Hendrix once sang about a girl who dreams of zebras and moonbeams.
The Norristown High Class of 2021 is sure to create its own share of moonbeams June 9 as Elmwood Park Zoo provides the zebra experience, in more ways than one.
A zebra-themed party, to be held from 6 to 10 p.m., the night before graduation, will spotlight guests dressed in their finest stripes and black and white attire.

Al Zone and Elmwood Park Zoo, in collaboration with the Norristown Area High School Student Council, are hosting this prom-like âwildâ party to celebrate the Norristown High School 2021 graduating class. Guests will enjoy a catered affair, in addition to food offered by zoo partners Petrucciâs Ice Cream, Zacharyâs BBQ and Tosco Pizza, and dance to music played by the world renown DJ Aktive, who has worked with the likes of Janet Jackson, Â Kanye West and P Diddy.
