Bill advances to ensure visitation plans in care facilities

OKLAHOMA CITY – A bill aimed at ensuring long-term care facilities have visitation plans in place in the event of future emergencies has advanced to the office of the governor.
State Sen. Greg McCortney, R-Ada, said strict no-visitor policies adopted over the past year to reduce the spread of COVID-19 took a toll on the mental and emotional health of many residents and family members.
