JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Children 18 years and younger will have the option to get free meals again all summer in Jamestown.
The Summer Food Service Program, also called the Summer Meals Program, provides free meals to area kids and teens. One of the sites holding the program is the NDSU Extension Service in Stutsman County.
NDSU Extension Agent Christina Rittenbach says the program provides food to children during summer, when childhood hunger is critical and they no longer have access to the school lunch program.
Rittenbach says the program will run every day from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM through their offices.
