Fallon Fridley, to death and claimed it was an accident.
Flood called the police, claiming Fallon had hit her head on a slide at the playground and was unresponsive. Paramedics arrived and rushed Fallon to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The autopsy report revealed that Fallon s injuries were not consistent with how Flood claimed she was hurt.
Fallon s injuries included a massive skull fracture and lacerations to her liver, spleen, and colon.
Police started questioning Flood and then examined her phone. Investigators learned that she had searched for what type of people enjoy abusing other people s children and what does it mean to have a sudden urge to beat a child that s not yours. She was taken into custody and is facing charges of murder, malice murder, aggravated battery, and first-degree cruelty to a child.

A Georgia woman was arrested in connection with the death of a 2-year-old girl she was babysitting, authorities said Tuesday.
Kirstie Flood, 29, was charged with two counts of murder, malice murder, aggravated battery and first-degree cruelty to a child, the Sandy Springs Police Department said.
An investigation was launched Dec. 9 after a medical call was made regarding an unresponsive child in an apartment. The child, identified as Fallon Fridley by the parents, was pronounced dead at a hospital.
An autopsy revealed the child suffered severe injuries, police said. Flood initially told police the child hit her head on a slide and didn t wake up, according to an arrest warrant obtained by WSB-TV.

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. A babysitter in Sandy Springs was charged with murder in the death of a 2-year-old in her care, police said.
On Dec. 9, the Sandy Springs Police Department launched an investigation after a medical call was made in reference to an unresponsive child inside at an apartment on Monterey Parkway. The toddler had been entrusted into the care of 29-year-old Kirstie Flood, police said.
The 2-year-old, identified by family friends as Fallon Fridley, was rushed to Children s Healthcare of Atlanta where she was pronounced dead.

A babysitter has been arrested and charged with the murder of a Georgia two-year-old girl, police said Tuesday.
Kirstie Flood, 29, was charged with two counts of felony murder and one count each of malice murder, aggravated battery, and first-degree cruelty to children, WSB-TV reported.
Even though the police did not release the girl’s name, the family told WSB-TV the girl’s name is Fallon Fridley and gave photos of the two-year-old to the news station.
“Fallon was a beautiful little girl with her whole life ahead of her,” friends of the family wrote on a GoFundMe page to benefit the child’s mother, Kristin Fridley Gantt.
