Kirstie Flood, 29, brutally beat the young girl,
Fallon Fridley, to death and claimed it was an accident.
Flood called the police, claiming Fallon had hit her head on a slide at the playground and was unresponsive. Paramedics arrived and rushed Fallon to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The autopsy report revealed that Fallon s injuries were not consistent with how Flood claimed she was hurt.
Fallon s injuries included a massive skull fracture and lacerations to her liver, spleen, and colon.
Police started questioning Flood and then examined her phone. Investigators learned that she had searched for what type of people enjoy abusing other people s children and what does it mean to have a sudden urge to beat a child that s not yours. She was taken into custody and is facing charges of murder, malice murder, aggravated battery, and first-degree cruelty to a child.

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. A babysitter in Sandy Springs was charged with murder in the death of a 2-year-old in her care, police said.
On Dec. 9, the Sandy Springs Police Department launched an investigation after a medical call was made in reference to an unresponsive child inside at an apartment on Monterey Parkway. The toddler had been entrusted into the care of 29-year-old Kirstie Flood, police said.
The 2-year-old, identified by family friends as Fallon Fridley, was rushed to Children s Healthcare of Atlanta where she was pronounced dead.
