(KNSI) – Members of 4-H in Central Minnesota can get help paying for college thanks to three scholarships for young people in agriculture.
The Minnesota State Fair and the Minnesota Livestock Breeders’ Association offer students from Greater Minnesota scholarships of $4,000 to $1,000.
Along with those scholarships, Christensen Farms funds an additional $1,000 scholarship named the Christensen Family Scholarship.
According to organizers, winners are selected based on their leadership and achievement in youth livestock programs and their involvement in the local community.
To apply, students must have completed high school by 2021 or earlier and be attending an agriculture program at college for the 2021-22 school year.
