It’s been a big week in the hard-seltzer world. White Claw, the most popular brand of hard seltzer in the U.S., introduced a new product with a special hook: It’s higher in alcohol.

Windsor mayor Dominic Foppoli faced the furious public for the first time Wednesday since at least six women stepped forward with accusations of sexual assault and rape.
The women told the San Francisco Chronicle that Foppoli, 38, assaulted them. The alleged incidents took place from 2002 to 2019 and include claims of forced oral copulation and rape, prompting the Sonoma County Sheriff s Office to open an investigation. (SFGATE and the San Francisco Chronicle are both owned by Hearst but operate independently of one another.)
