FORT PIERCE A 29-year-old man was arrested after allegations he went in a woman’s home and sexually battered her, a recently-released affidavit states.
Christopher Lee Jones, of the 3300 block of Avenue J in Fort Pierce, was arrested March 31 by Fort Pierce police on charges of sexual assault/sexual battery, burglary with assault or battery and battery, records show.
Police on March 29 went to an undisclosed address where a person identified as the victim’s daughter said her mother had been crying. The daughter said her mother is afraid of Jones.
The mother eventually told police she was in her bed upstairs when she noticed Jones in the doorway. She said he sexually assaulted her and made unwanted advances. She was described as very distraught and emotional, and went to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute in Fort Pierce for an examination.
Jones was jailed at Leeds Crown Court.
Christopher Lee Jones attacked his 66-year-old partner who had pulled a knife on him after they got drunk and began arguing, Leeds Crown Court heard.
Jones, 40, said he had been acting in self defence, but admitting causing grievous bodily harm after he continued attacking the stricken man as he lay on the floor.
Prosecuting, Jonathan Sharp, said Jones had been dogsitting for his partner s neighbour on the evening of October 19 last year on Blakey Road in Wakefield.
However, Jones ended up at this partner s house drinking with him and another friend.
Shouting was heard at around midnight after Jones got into an argument with the neighbour s son over the dog getting out.
