Home Affairs Minister, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi, says his department plans to review some permits of persons who had acquired their South African permanent residence documents fraudulently.
Motsoaledi has revealed that some well-known names include Timothy Omotoso, who is found to be among those with illegal documents.
Omotoso, a pastor from the Jesus Dominion International Church, and two co-accused are facing more than 90 sex-related charges including rape, racketeering, human trafficking and sexual abuse.
It is alleged that young women from the Jesus Dominion International were lured to a mission house in KwaZulu-Natal where they would have been spiritually educated but instead they were allegedly sexually assaulted and raped.

A sexual assault victim of Nigerian pastor, Timothy Omotoso, has narrated her ordeal and how she was allegedly kicked out of his mission house after she stopped performing sexual acts on him.
Omotoso who headed the Jesus Dominion International Church‚ Durban, South Africa, was arrested on April 20, 2017, after charges of rape and human trafficking were filed against him and others.
He was alleged to have preyed on victims as young as 13.
Based on the Sexual Offences Act, Omotoso and others accused, Lusanda Sulani and Zukiswa Sitho, are facing 63 main and 34 alternative charges.
A new witness, Hlubikazi Faleni, 26, who testified against the pastor at the Port Elizabeth high court on Thursday, February 4, said Omotoso would force her to massage his private parts and perform sexual acts on him.

The witness, Hlubikazi Faleni, a singer, noted that she was kicked out of the mission house in Durban because she refused to continue massaging the pastor’s feet and private parts.

Anele Mxakaza has detailed how she and her twin sister, Neliswa, were allegedly groomed to please rape-accused televangelist Timothy Omotoso.
Mxakaza, a former Idols contestant, testified about how she and her sister had allegedly been sexually assaulted by the church leader.
They were urged not to report the matter to the authorities.
