Mexico, Feb 28 (Prensa Latina) Saving lives is the main objective of Cuba s Henry Reeve Medical Contingent, and achieving it requires constant professional improvement, Dr. Jesus Fernando Valdes Herrera told Prensa Latina.
Valdes, who is an expert in comprehensive general medicine, is a member of the brigade in Mexico, a country where a second group of 500 Cuban doctors arrived at a time of a serious rise in Covid-19 cases.
In the program that the contingent implements in the countries where it provides its services, such as Mexico, there are scientific conferences that have the multiple purpose of updating knowledge with the latest trends in medicine, and assessing the work developed by the brigades in the different specialties.
