Ohio-based rapper Armond Wakeup crams a lot into this three minute single including his views on white influence on religion ( I was not force-fed Jesus by Europeans ) and cause and effect ( I don t believe in karma - the universe isn t God ) whilst offering up intelligent comment on skin colour and modern tolerance which may make you nod your head in agreement. Wakeup succeeds in backing up everything he says with God s truth and even has the time to offer up the nugget of advice if you complain more than you change, give it a rest to showcase the man s standing as a sage observer of these strange times. Instrumental and a cappella versions are thrown into the mix for good measure.
