The Christian County Public School System is hosting a free COVID-19 vaccination clinic for students Monday at both Hopkinsville High and Christian County High School. Wild Health Medical Services has partnered with the University of Kentucky to provide the Pfizer vaccine to school-age children over 12 years old. Parents will enroll at the Wild Health website prior to Monday. Shots will be given from 9-12 at Hopkinsville High School and from 1-3 at Christian County High. Superintendent of Schools Chris Bentzel said the vaccinations are by appointment only but students can get the shot at either location regardless of which school they attend. Bentzel said the second shot will be given on June 19.
