+ May 31, 2021 TOP diplomats abroad are pushing for the role of Clark Freeport, a former US military airbase, as an investment and economic center for businessmen in northeastern America and other US states.
New York Consul General Elmer Cato said the Freeport is being promoted under the economic diplomacy program of the government.
Cato made the remarks in Balitaan, a virtual kapihan of Capampangan in Media Inc. (CAMI) and Clark Development Corporation (CDC).
In the video conference, Cato said the Philippine Center in New York, together with American Chamber of Commerce, recently held a webinar that pushes for freeports in Clark, Subic and Bataan as investment centers.

May 24, 2021 THE Clark Development Corporation (CDC) recently donated various medical supplies and assorted grocery items to the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP)-Northern Luzon Command (Nolcom) at Camp Servillano Aquino in San Miguel, Tarlac.
CDC President and CEO Manuel Gaerlan turned over the donations to Nolcom Chief Lieutenant General Arnulfo Burgos and Colonel Rodney Intal.
The donated materials will be distributed to the members of the AFP-Nolcom to help ensure their protection while serving in the front lines.
In a statement, CDC said this initiative aims to strengthen the partnership between CDC and Nolcom.
Gaerlan cited the commitment of the members and officials of Nolcom in serving the country.
