CANTON Three new cases of COVID-19 were reported to St. Lawrence County Public Health today (Monday, June 14), bringing the total number of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases to-date to 7,523.

Public Health said 7,399 cases have been released from isolation.
Eight cases are hospitalized.
Ninety-seven deaths have occurred; this fatality data comes from the New York State Department of Health and was last updated on June 10 before 2 p.m.
Public Health said 335,751 COVID-19 tests have been performed as of June 13; this testing data comes from the New York State Department of Health and was last updated on June 14 before 2 p.m.

OGDENSBURG - Since opening their doors in January 2020, Community Health Center of the North Country has experienced a steady stream of area residents seeking medical care.
The 102 Ford Street primary care facility is one of four Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) operated by Community Health Center of the North Country (CHCNC). Health centers are also based in Canton, Gouverneur and Malone. CHCNC also operates an optometry center in Watertown. “We’ve had a very successful and productive year that shows there is a need for us in Ogdensburg,” said Ray Babowicz, director of marketing and communications. “Looking back, a needs assessment showed a need for healthcare particularly for the underserved,lower income
