On Friday, Dec. 25, deputies responding to a single-vehicle collision in Grand Terrace found an anti-tank rocket-propelled grenade launcher in an abandoned car.
According to a sheriffâs department press release, at about 12:31 a.m. on Friday deputies responded to an abandoned vehicle that was involved in a single vehicle traffic collision near the intersection of Glendora Drive and Barton Road in Grand Terrace, and the driver fled on foot.
The Hondaâs rear window was shattered from a bullet, which entered the passengerâs compartment through the rear window, struck the inside of the windshield and came to rest on the dash. The center counsel contained a small amount of blood and an anti-tank rocket-propelled grenade launcher was in plain view on the back seat.

GRAND TERRACE, Calif. (KABC) Sheriff s deputies found an anti-tank weapon in a car that had been left abandoned after an apparent shooting and crash in Grand Terrace early Christmas morning.
The abandoned Honda was found around 12:30 a.m. in the area of Glendora Drive and Barton Road.
The rear window had been shot out and blood was found inside the car. It had also apparently been involved in a single-vehicle crash and left near the intersection, with the driver fleeing on foot.
