The Idaho Falls Police Department rushed to apartments on the 1400 block of Whitewater Drive on Wednesday night after hearing Karen Clark, 66, had just used a shovel to attack a man, according to an affidavit of probable cause. Clark is reported to have then driven away in her 2017 Porsche. Police arrived and found the man with a cut on his face and multiple swollen lumps on his arm. Clark was back at the apartment and officers placed her into handcuffs. She said she did not remember much of the incident other than taking the man’s glasses and holding a shovel to his stomach.

IDAHO FALLS An Idaho Falls man sat stonefaced as investigators and a witness testified of the night he allegedly slit the throat of a roommate and killed him. Douglass Taylor, 32, appeared in a Bonneville County courtroom on Thursday for his preliminary hearing. Taylor is charged with first-degree murder. Investigators say that on March 10, 2020, he killed his 51-year-old roommate, Hermann Hans Woerrlein, originally from Germany. Woerrlein was traveling around the United States but had been living in the home for a few months.

Eastern Idaho Public Health officials speculate there may be several possible reasons for the improvement. Juvenile Killed in Interstate Rollover in Idaho Falls IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)-A car carrying several people on Interstate 15 rolled Wednesday morning killing a juvenile and sending others to the hospital in Idaho Falls. According to Idaho State Police, the crash happened several minutes before 6 a.m. on northbound I-15 when the driver lost control and rolled in the median. The people in the car were ejected, one juvenile died at the scene, the others were taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Part of the interstate was blocked for more than five hours. ISP said in a statement the investigation is ongoing.

Police investigate fatality crash MGN Online IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - Idaho State Police are looking for individuals who witnessed a single-vehicle fatality crash on Interstate 15 at milepost 118, in Idaho Falls at approximately 5:50 a.m. Wednesday. ISP reports a 2004 Toyota Camry was traveling northbound on Interstate 15. The driver lost control of the vehicle and rolled into the median. Occupants were ejected from the vehicle. A juvenile succumbed to their injuries, and next of kin has been notified. All occupants were transported by ground ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. The northbound left lane was blocked for approximately five hours and twenty-five minutes. The investigation is ongoing.
