Serious concerns held for man missing from Randwick

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s east. Robert Duncan, aged 78, was last seen at his home on Alison Road, Randwick, on Wednesday 14 April 2021. He was reported missing to police on Monday (26 April 2021), when his building manager discovered he hadn’t returned to his home. Police from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are conducting inquiries to locate Robert. Serious concerns are held for his welfare as he is unable to be contacted and has not accessed his bank accounts. Robert is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 165cm tall, with a slim build and white hair. He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured coat.

Oliver Waters, aged 31, was last seen at a home on Bruce Bennetts Place, Maroubra about 5:45pm on Thursday 15 April 2021. Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command were notified after Oliver could not be located and are conducting inquiries into his whereabouts. Oliver is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm – 190cm tall, medium build, light brown hair, and sometimes wears glasses. Oliver lives in Sydney, however may also be in Victoria. Police investigate fatal crash- Banksmeadow

A woman has died following a single-vehicle crash in Sydney’s south today. About 2pm (Thursday 15 April 2021), emergency services were called to Botany Road, near Foreshore Drive, at Banksmeadow, after a Mazda CX3 travelling south hit a roundabout and travelled into a nearby garden. The driver, a 91-year-old woman and sole occupant of the car, died at the scene. Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command established a crime scene as they investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. Date Time Police charge woman with multiple offences after police pursuit – Birrong A woman will face court tomorrow after allegedly leading police on a pursuit through Sydney’s south-west today. About 11.15am (Tuesday 13 April 2021), a 29-year-old woman was driving a Hyundai SUV on Myrtle Road, Bankstown, when she was noticed by police. Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command attempted to pull her over, however, she failed to stop. She continued driving through local streets of Bankstown to evade police until she crashed her car into a guard rail at the railway underpass where Brunker Road meets Ferrier Road, Birrong.
