(Photo: Bernama) Crossing the treacherous waters of the mighty Sungai Kinabatangan and driving on rickety wooden bridges and pothole-filled dirt roads are something Sabah’s mobile Covid-19 vaccination teams have to contend with when travelling to remote villages here under the state’s outreach programme. Another major hurdle they have to clear is convincing the villagers to come out of their houses to get the vaccine. There are a host of other challenges as well but regardless of that, the dedicated healthcare workers have only one thing in their mind: vaccinate as many eligible people as they can to ensure the success of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.
