Ceredigion residents are being warned to look out for rogue traders. ROGUE traders pressuring people into roof, patio and driveway cleaning have damaged tiles during unnecessary work. Now police have warned the public to be on their guard following offences in the Corfe Mullen area. A spokesman for East Dorset Police said: Recent incidents have resulted in damage being caused to roof tiles during unnecessary cleaning work. We advise that you should never accept work from door step traders. Man disturbed while trying to steal catalytic converter in Verwood

THE police helicopter was tasked to find the occupants of a vehicle involved in the theft of catalytic converters. Police have now urged owners of Hondas to consider where they park as their cars are usually targeted. A spokesperson for East Dorset Police said: “On Monday, April 19, the person in the image was disturbed at an address in Verwood, it is suspected that they were trying to steal a catalytic convertor. “On Wednesday, April 21, a suspicious dark-coloured hatchback vehicle was seen in suspicious circumstances in Bridle Way, Colehill. “The police helicopter was deployed as it was believed that the occupants of the vehicle were involved in stealing catalytic convertors, but unfortunately the vehicle and persons were not found.
