(File photo) A recently-released judgment from the court showed Singh’s lawyer, Marie Dyhrberg QC, claimed the prosecutor had asked leading questions of the victim. There had also been confusion between the prosecutor and the victim as to some specifics of the abuse, including where on her genitals Singh had touched her, Dyrhberg said. The Supreme Court said a miscarriage of justice had not been proved, and the case did not raise a point of public importance, as Singh claimed. “Rather, it turns on the specific and unusual facts of the case.”
