A woman shot in the head in a double shooting in East Pennsboro earlier this month has died, turning the crime into a double-homicide.
Melissia Hinton-Miller, 65, died Tuesday from her injuries after spending nearly two weeks in the hospital, according to Cumberland County First Assistant District Attorney Michelle Sibert. Her name previously was released as Melissa but Sibert confirmed Thursday that the spelling of her first name is Melissia.

A Cumberland County man admitted shooting his wife and daughter at their Enola, Pennsylvania, home, according to police. East Pennsboro Township Police said John Miller, 78, called them Saturday night to confess. Police had previously been called to the family home on Greenmont Drive earlier in the day for a domestic dispute between Miller and his daughter.Police assessed the situation and left before the shooting happened.Police say a short time later they got another 911 call from the same address from Miller, saying he had shot and killed his wife and his adult daughter.When officers arrived back at the home, Miller was taken into custody without incident.According to police, Miller s daughter was found dead and his wife was taken to Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital.Police say Miller was transported to Cumberland County Prison and arraigned on homicide charges.Neighbors describe the family as quiet and they think the Millers daughter had recently moved back home with her pare
