AN INSPIRING young man who overcame homelessness and drug addiction to become an NHS key worker has won a national award. Thomas Pemberton, 22 from Blackburn, first shared his story in December last year when it was announced that he had been shortlisted for the Prince s Trust Homesense Young Achiever of the Year Award.
