8 more people die from coronavirus in East Lancashire Hospitals Trust THERE have been eight more deaths from coronavirus in East Lancashire Hospitals, according to the latest figures. The statistics from NHS England show that the trust, which operates Royal Blackburn Hospital and Burnley General Hospitals, had two deaths on February 19, two on Feburary 20, two on February 21 and another two on February 22. It means that 982 people had passed away at the trust after being diagnosed with the virus since the start of the pandemic. Elsewhere, the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals had one more coronavirus death, while there were two at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals.
