Casinos in Pennsylvania began reopening from the state’s COVID-19 related shutdown on June 9, 2020 at which time the smoking ban was put in place by direction of the Gaming Control Board following Gov. Central Pa. casino opens hiring center as it gears up for summer opening

Penn National Gaming announced on Thursday that it plans to open Hollywood Casino York this summer.
The casino is expected to open in August in the former Sears store at the York Galleria Mall in Springettsbury Township York County, pending customary regulatory approvals.
As it gears up for the opening, the mall has also opened a career center on the lower level of the mall and has begun to accept applications for jobs at the mini-casino.
The career center is open from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday with hours expected to expand in the near future.
