Police charge man after sexual assault in Geelong
Geelong Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives have charged a 34-year-old man following an investigation into sexual assaults that occurred in Geelong.
The incidents occurred at a hospital in Geelong in 2019.
A Geelong man has been charged with two counts of rape and four counts of sexual assault.
He will appear at the Geelong Magistrates’ Court on 1 October

Geelong Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged two men following the execution of a warrant in Corio yesterday.
A 53-year-old Corio man has been charged with possess firearm, possess cartridge ammunition, possess explosive substance, manufacture explosive substance, cultivate narcotic plant, and possess cannabis.
A 29-year-old Corio man has been charged with prohibited person possess firearm, prohibited person possess silencer, possess firearm in contravention of a firearm prohibition order, possess cartridge ammunition, possess explosive substance, manufacture explosive substance, cultivate narcotic plant, possess cannabis, and fail to comply with direction to assist.

Police charge woman after Geelong West pedestrian fatal
Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit have charged a woman following a fatal pedestrian collision in Geelong West last year.
The 67-year-old woman has been charged with dangerous driving causing death, drive in a manner dangerous and careless driving.
The Grovedale woman was bailed to appear before Geelong Magistrates’ Court on 16 July.
The charges follow a collision on Clarence Street, near Shannon Avenue, about 1.05pm on 16 March.
Police will allege a 79-year-old woman was crossing the road when she was struck by a vehicle.
The Geelong West woman was taken to hospital in a critical condition but sadly died a short time later.
