Downstate New York Committee of the American College of Trial Lawyers issues the following statement:
Among its core missions, the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL) seeks to promote ethical conduct by lawyers and respect for the rule of law. Those lawyers – including Rudy Giuliani – who advocated for Congress to overturn the result of an election that had been certified by the Electoral College, based on false and unsupported claims of election fraud rejected by multiple courts throughout the country, failed to honor that sacred responsibility.
