RAJKOT: The city unit of Congress made public phone numbers for people to inform about police harassing business establishment owners and daily wagers over mandatory vaccine rule of the state government.
The government had set the deadline of June 30 for traders, vegetable vendors and other ‘super spreaders’ to take a jab or face a closure of business.

Hardik Patel-led Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) activists on Sunday got involved in clash with Congress workers over ticket distribution in Surat.
The PAAS workers were alleging that they did not get proper representation as it was promised. Congress and PASS reached an agreement over quota on Sunday which was later announced by Bharat Singh Solanki, Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee President.

The venue to the iconic Vibrant Gujarat Summit will start admitting Covid patients at the earliest, say officials Mahatma Mandir the venue for iconic business congregation Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit is set to be converted into Covid hospital in Gandhiangar.
This follows the announcement made by the Union Home Minister Amit Shah to set up 1,200-bed Covid-19 hospital in the State capital, as new cases continued to mount overwhelming the existing hospital infrastructure.
“It will be a dedicated Covid Hospital at Mahatma Mandir with 1200-beds capacity, as per the announcement. Final decisions are being worked out at government level regarding operational aspects among others,” a senior official told
