Calcasieu Parish Police Juryâs Division of Planning and Development moving back to office on Lakeshore Drive
LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury has announced that all permit, licensing, and planning staff for their Planning and Development division will move back to 901 Lakeshore Drive, on the fifth floor, Monday, March 22, 2021.
On that date, the office will issue permits for development, licenses for businesses, and zoning requests for the parishâs unincorporated areas at the 901 Lakeshore facility.
Office hours will be from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Monday - Friday.
The Planning and Development division was temporarily relocated to Prien Lake Parkâs Harborâs Edge Pavilion in early September of 2020 due to the damage the Planning and Development offices sustained during Hurricane Laura.
