Jun 05, 2021 10:28:37 AM Opposition Whip Lynda Tabuya says the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) owe the suffering people of Fiji an explanation of how COVID-19 managed to infiltrate the community through a breach in protocols. Responding to a statement released by RFMF Commander Rear-Admiral Viliame Naupoto who stated that accusations by Tabuya and fellow MP Simione Rasova that military officers breached protocols and Navy officers are spreading the virus are false and called on them to apologise to frontline workers, Tabuya said her role is to hold the government of the day accountable. I cannot apologise for doing my job. My role is to hold the government of the day accountable in trying to get to the bottom of how we find ourselves in this mess.
