Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia has sparked one controversy after another â and recently, Jewish groups have been lambasting the far-right Republican congresswoman for comparing pandemic-related mask mandates to the Holocaust. Some Republicans in Congress were no doubt hoping that the controversy would go away. But when a reporter, on Tuesday, asked Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell to address the controversy, he described her comments as outrageous and reprehensible.

Members of Congress promised that this time they’d successfully reform policing, amid the national furor over George Floyd’s 2020 murder and the conviction of the officer responsible for his death.
President Biden urged them to bring a plan to his desk by the one-year anniversary. That deadline was Tuesday, and members haven’t reached a deal.
A major sticking point is qualified immunity, or more specifically, whether officers can be sued for violating people’s civil rights. Although this immunity was created by the courts, Congress can pass a law revoking or modifying it.

The time for conservatives to play defense is over. Since the election, the Left is trying to put us back on defense. We can t let that happen. In order to win the culture war, conservatives must admit how much we have already lost.
Since the 1960s, conservatives in America have slowly relinquished to the radical left the institutions that form the moral backbone of our society: marriage and the family, the public school system, music and entertainment.
Enough is enough. Conservatives and thinking people across the country must now play offense in the culture war, if we are going to win. We can no longer simply whine and commiserate amongst ourselves about the degradation of society. We must recover, reclaim and restore our culture.

US Treasury Deputy Secretary Wally Adeyemo said he expects strong backing from G7 peers for Washington s proposed 15 per cent-plus global minimum corporate tax, which should help solidify support in the US Congress for domestic corporate tax legislation. My sense is that you re going to see a lot of unified support amongst the G7 moving forward, Adeyemo told Reuters on Monday after France, Germany, Italy and Japan made positive comments about the Treasury s proposal.
