Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness CGI Adaptation Coming to Netflix in 2021
Resident Evil Animation Producer, Hiroyuki Kobayashi, introduced the project during the
Resident EvilShowcase on January 21, 2021.
Capcom originally announced the 3D CGI animated project back in 2020. The new story will focus on fan-favorites Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy. Chronologically, it will take place a few years after the events of
Resident Evil 4. Releasing sometime in 2021, the new series will be available worldwide on Netflix.
We also heard about another upcoming film in the works back in 2020. Differing from the 3D CGI productions, this new movie will be a live-action adaptation focusing on the Spencer Mansion and Raccoon City. So far, characters like Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield, and Albert Wesker have been confirmed.
Resident Evil Village PS4 and Xbox One copies. During the
Resident Evil Showcase, Producer Peter Fabiano appeared to confirm that it will appear on both of those systems, the PS5, the Xbox Series X, and the PC on May 7, 2021.
There will also be free upgrade options. Should someone get a
Resident Evil Village PS4 version, they’ll get a PS5 digital copy. If someone gets an Xbox One version, Xbox Smart Delivery will ensure you have the Xbox Series X version if you play it on that system.

This standalone Resident Evil 8 demo, Maiden, doesn t include any combat but offers a taste of the full game s mood.
The first demo of Resident Evil Village is now available, but you ll need a PlayStation 5 in order to try it out. PS5 owners can now head to the PlayStation Store provided they can get it to load, as PSN has been experiencing issues in the wake of the demo s announcement and snag the Maiden demo, which is not a piece of the main game, nor does it feature its star, Ethan Winters. Instead, this will give you a taste of what to expect from the full experience without actually spoiling any of it.
