New Delhi [India], April 20 (ANI): The AIIMS Resident Doctors Association (RDA) has demanded strict action against comedianSunil Pal over his derogatory remarks for doctors working in COVID-19 management and treatment.
AIIMSRDA president Amandeep said a video went viral in which comedianSunil Pal used bad words for the doctors and tried to tarnish their image. The country and the whole world know that how COVID-19 spread is increasing and doctors are carrying out their responsibilities. I demand that action should be taken against Sunil Pal under the Epidemic Act. We have written a letter to the Home Minister and have demanded strict action against Sunil Pal, Amandeep told ANI.

AIIMS RDA runs 7-day COVID-19 vaccination drive for resident doctors ANI | Updated: Apr 13, 2021 22:50 IST
New Delhi [India], April 13 (ANI): All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) s Resident Doctors Association (RDA) is running a seven-day vaccination drive against COVID-19 for resident doctors who missed their doses due to their busy schedule.
The RDA wants mess and other administration staff to be put on the list of frontline workers so that they can be vaccinated.
Speaking to ANI, Dr Amandeep, RDA president, said, It is important that not only healthcare workers but people like mess workers are also at risk. That is why we have written a letter in which we demanded mess workers to be included in frontline workers category.
Ranchi: Outpatient departments (OPD) at all six state-run medical college hospitals continued to be disrupted on Tuesday as senior and junior resident doctors took part in the indefinite statewide strike to pursue their demands for outstanding dues.
Hundreds of patients, who visited the hospitals in Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Dhanbad, Palamu, Dumka and Hazaribag, had to return without getting any treatment or consultations. Those who arrived at Rims from far-flung areas were putting at the hospital for the night. As per a rough estimate, nearly 700 patients missed their appointments with the doctors at Ranchi’s Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (Rims) alone.
