Biden Drastically Cuts Number of Criminal Illegal Aliens in Federal Custody

President Joe Biden has drastically cut the number of criminal illegal aliens in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The latest data from the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) at Syracuse University shows that as of May 3, just a little more than 5,200 criminal illegal aliens were in ICE custody.
Compare that total to the number of criminal illegal aliens ICE had detained in May 2019, when more than 23,200 were in federal custody. The drop in ICE detainment of criminal illegal aliens represents a 78 percent decrease compared to the same time two years ago when agents had broad authority to arrest and deport illegal aliens.

Close to 2-in-3 registered American voters say President Joe Biden is “encouraging” illegal immigration to the United States with a series of executive orders, memos, and decisions that are resulting in the mass release of border crossers into the nation’s interior.
The latest Harvard/Harris poll reveals 65 percent of registered voters say Biden is encouraging illegal immigration to the U.S. while a minority of 35 percent say he is discouraging illegal immigration.
Those who say Biden is encouraging illegal immigration include 68 percent of Hispanic voters, 65 percent of white Americans, 58 percent of black Americans, along with 63 percent to 67 percent across all voter age groups.

President Joe Biden’s nominee to lead the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency, Harris County, Texas, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, sought the release of more than 1,500 inmates this year, including illegal aliens and those charged with violent crimes.
Last month, Biden nominated Gonzalez to become ICE director, the agency that has been gutted by the administration’s “sanctuary country” orders that prevent agents from arresting and deporting illegal aliens who are not recently-convicted aggravated felons, terrorists, or known gang members.
A report by the Washington Free Beacon reveals that Gonzalez, in January, sought the release of more than 1,500 inmates in the Harris County Jail more than 74 percent of which were either charged with violent crimes, were illegal aliens with ICE detainers, or had extradition orders on them.

Thousands of criminal illegal aliens, including those convicted of homicide and sex crimes, may evade deportation as internal records reveal that President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) does not classify them as “priority” for immigration enforcement.
Internal DHS records, obtained by Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, show that thousands of criminal illegal aliens in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody do not meet the Biden administration’s narrow requirements that allow federal agents to deport someone to their native country.
The Biden orders, known as “sanctuary country” orders, effectively prevent ICE agents from arresting and deportating criminal illegal aliens unless they have been recently convicted of an aggravated felony or are terrorists or gang members.

President Joe Biden’s “sanctuary country” orders, preventing the deportation of about 9-in-10 illegal aliens, are hugely forcing down the number of illegal aliens being deported which has now dropped to the lowest monthly total since federal officials began tracking the number.
Washington Post, only 2,962 illegal aliens were deported in the month of April by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents the first time the monthly deportation total has dropped under 3,000.
In March, Biden had forced down deportations to a historic low with just 3,716 illegal aliens being deported by ICE agents that month. At the current pace, fewer than 55,000 illegal aliens are expected to be deported this fiscal year, the lowest annual number in recorded history.
