Remembering David Amborn, a community treasure February 17, 2021 10:19 PM Molly Ringberg Updated: David Amborn passed away Sunday, Feb. 14, at the age of 68. He worked for the Gundersen Medical Foundation until retiring in 2016. Along with his work at the foundation, Amborn was also very involved in the community, including Rotary and the Children’s Museum. “David meant so much to so many people. He was a yes man. He found a way to get things done, and he found a way to unite people, to come together, to do what the community needed,” said Mandy Nogle, the Gundersen Medical Foundation’s philanthropy director.
